The MotorTrend Auto Show has always been a highly anticipated event in the city of Baltimore. Held at the Baltimore Convention Center in Inner Harbor, the show features over 500 of the newest cars and trucks across a myriad of car manufacturers. The show basically brings the dealership to you and yes, you can hop in and explore the car (not all). DuPont Registry was also present and featured several high end luxury cars. It was a fun, family friendly event that spanned 4 days. There were plenty of activities like driving simulators, plenty of giveaways and freebies from the lovely brand representatives and you could even take your potential future car out for a test drive!

The show was a significant event for car enthusiasts like us because it gave us an opportunity to showcase our unique rides. Being car enthusiasts ourselves, we were invited to display our cars along with other beautiful cars being presented by LiveWire Media and APAC. An R35 GT-R, owned by John Gomes was finally unveiled. This powerful machine was carefully restored and customized by APAC. It’s the very first GT-R with a Skipper Japan body kit and painted in a unique blue taken from Porsche’s color palette.

APAC showcased the products they sell and most importantly, their work and talent. Their craftsmanship has improved and perfected throughout the years. This proved to be evident in the cars on display – the sotrendy Evos, John and Byron’s GTRs, Angie’s Charger were among those on the list. The display drew in crowds, probably for the mere fact that they don’t get the chance to see cars like those everyday. It’s like looking at rare beasts. For us car enthusiasts, with the season being frosty and bitterly cold – this became a good opportunity for us to see our friends again till the warm season breezes through.

Events like this give us the opportunity to support our own network. One night we gathered at dinner to discuss future plans, we pitched in ideas and inevitably became masterminds – scheming a blueprint to accomplish a common goal. Loyalty produces deep roots and keeps the network strong and rooted. That’s the mantra, that’s the quintessential core and that’s how it should be. We’re always proud to support those who support us.

We’d like to extend our gratitude to Brad Hoffman at LiveWire Media, Khris Uybengkee at KU Connection, Brandon and Britanny at Root’d, Byron, Derrick, Sean, Paco and the crew at APAC. We have a lot of projects, plans and collaborations in place this year, it’s going to be legend..wait for it..
